Moto Rumi Rejuvenation

This is a re-render of the final presentation image for my Moto-Rumi Capolavoro motorcycle senior studio.  I felt the need to rework the piece, for reasons from quality concerns to unconventionally [illegally] placed kickstands.  I'm still working out some details in the handlebar area, and below are some recent engine work-out sketches.

Gnarly Pile of Billet

I don't quite understand people's disdain for billet.  I agree it's often misused to make simple, crude looking parts, but it's also the choice method for making some of the coolest metal parts in the world, like racing brake calipers and fighter aircraft bulkheads.  I think as at-home rapid prototyping settles in, home based computer operated mills could start pumping out sweet billet parts with the same stroke of creativity that garage builders with migs and tigs are showing now.

Guzzi with Fairings

Thought this would end up being more comically massive, but it turned out sort of muscular.  It's loosely based on a Moto Guzzi V1 1000, whom's jugs I particularly admire.

Its one of the most recent pieces from my time at CCS, But since I can't seem to locate the first thing I ever drew, this will have to do for now. More images to come, along with explanations.
